As a multidisciplinary, freelance artist, I have spent the past decade exploring the intersection of technology and performance, working across the fields of theatre, (contemporary-)dance (since 2013, B.A. Dance), programming for clients (since 2021) and holding an "Abitur im Bildungsgang Staatlich geprüfter Informationstechnischer Assistent" (ITA - since 2010).

My work blends movement, interactivity, and digital systems to create immersive experiences, with a particular interest in how human expression translates into virtual spaces.
Now, I aim to bring this fusion of artistic and technical expertise into game programming. My background allows me to approach game development from a unique perspective—one that values narrative, emotion, and player embodiment as much as code and mechanics.

As a starting point, I programmed a Website for this application from scratch in the last two month. It includes texts, images, videos and little animations, to display my skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript. Each section in this portfolio, includes several links to the corresponding sections on my website, which displays visual information about the projects.

Dance & Tech

Coming from a background as an independent multimedia dance artist for over a decade, I have danced, choreographed, and staged several art projects. There are two main projects, which I want to focus on: The interdisciplinary shows „All in one“ and „RENDERED in real time“. Both of these shows, were touring to different theaters, with me in the role of the artistic director, choreographer and being one of the dancers.

RENDERED – in real time is a multimedia production featuring live music, dance, AI-generated projections, deepfakes, and a VJ. It toured across Germany and was funded by the Nationales Performance Netzwerk and Gastspielförderung NRW.

ALL IN ONE is a co-production between the company About Blank and my former collective “Feed Your Head Collective” - funded by Nationales Performance Netzwerk, Fonds Darstellende Künste, Kulturstiftung des freistaates Sachsen and Societätstheater Dresden. It included several shows at theaters and festivals in germany. Find out more: Visual

Websites

Through my previous experience in programming, I established a secondary occupation, working with various clients to develop front-end and back-end solutions. Primarily using JavaScript, PHP, and SQL, along with HTML and CSS for structuring and styling. I created synchronizations for their management software and website backends. Additionally, I programmed JavaScript HTTP requests to fetch real-time data and animate front-end displays, such as interactive calendars and weekly planners.

For the client “Brotfabrik Bonn”, I implemented a PHP-based system, where the script crawls through several websites of the connected cultural institutions and grabs information about new events, which then get stored in an SQL-Database and can be displayed on their website and - coming up soon: Displayed on a screen, which runs an .exe on a mini-PC, programmed in C++ and Unreal. Combining data-analyzing/structuring with the visual possibilities of Unreal Engine

FILM

Over the last decade (especially since the pandemic), I have produced several art and dance films, as well as handled post-production for other artists. Including software like after effects, premiere pro and cinema4D, got an all-around skill set in video editing, post-production and basics in 3D-Animation with C4D.

LOCKED IN PANIC


Shortfilm Dance & Music
Locked in Panic was my first self-produced movie and marked the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was funded by Fonds DaKu. We experimented with analog camera effects, produced the music (with Angie Taylor), and I handled the post-production in Premiere Pro.
